Takeoff was developed in early 2026 and due to its remote location and limited flyable conditions may need some love. There is only one possible launch direction ESE. Exact Launch Location: 41.330298, -123.540169

Accès

Getting to launch pretty much requires GPS unless you have been there before. Take the go-road (NF15-N01) up to the dirt turn off for the "shooting range" (ask a local) and follow it straight out for as far as you can go. once you can go no further due to a tree in the road, walk straight down the road and into the forest. Use GPS and don't get lost. Alternatively you can hike up the prospect trail from near the waste station (about an hour 20) and you will find launch near the top of the climb.

Météo

Best with the elusive ESE wind or pre/post frontal for thermals. Have not flown in summer, so conditions are unknown.
