Description du décollage

Launch setup depends on the wind direction. Up to 5 pilots can prepare and launch simultaneously. The main slope is widely used as a training hill. Warning: The slope directly above the forest is flyable only for expert/extreme pilots and is strictly not recommended.

Accès

A crossover or SUV is preferred, but access is often possible with a regular passenger car. Parking is available on site.

Météo

Flyable wind directions: North-Northeast (ideal), North, North-Northwest, Northwest, and West (challenging, high risk of blowback). Wind speed: base 4–5 m/s, gusts 5–9 m/s. When flying on the western side of the slope, stay highly alert: if gusts exceed 10 m/s, there is a strong probability of being blown back into the rotor.

Réglementation / espace aérien

The flight zone must be activated by an active member of the Paragliding Club of Moldova. Warning: Permanent paragliding altitude limit — 300m AMSL.
