Takeoff is clear but the altitude is not that great. The wind is fairly weak and soaring may be rare.
Accès
Google maps can get you 98% of the way there and the final leg up the hill is narrow but easy to find.

Don't fly over 200m above takeoff to respect Chiang Mai airport airspace.
