Description du décollage
Altitude at the top: 1288 meters (4225.5 feet) GPS: N 51 11 53.17, W -114 26 58.82 Takeoffs : South facing hill is flyable in wind directions from East, South & West winds. Grassy launch location is well maintained and has a gradual slope for easy takeoffs.
Accès
From Calgary, Alberta Canada, travel NW on Crowchild Trial out of the city limits towards Cochrane. 10.58km (6.57 miles) to Glenn Eagles drive. Turn right (North) and travel 12 meters (13 yards) to a stop sign. Turn left (West) on Big Hill Road and travel at or below the posted speed limits a distance of 1.64km (1.02 miles) to Muller Wind Sports. There is a windsock at the entrance which you can't miss on your left.

High winds can close the site. Wind gusts come out of nowhere so be very cautious.
Réglementation / espace aérien
This location is near Springbank airport (CYBW) and its airspace. Notifications (NOTAM)must be given to the airport when any paraglider or hang glider takes to the Skies. The phone number and a script is located at the door of the flight centre. Once a NOTAM is given you must untie the black flag on the power pole in front of the flight centre. If the flag is already untied, there is no need to call in a second NOTAM. Please tie the flag back up after sun down. We are confined to the river on the south, highway 22 to the west, Glen Eagles golf course on the east and one kilometer to the north of launch. There is a ceiling height of (?seaching?) this area as well. This is due to our NOTAM flight restrictions and the proximity of the Springbank & Calgary airports.

Nice casual hill to fly at. Very close to Calgary. Vincene (Land owner) runs Muller Wind Sports and Keith MacCullough is the head instructor. There is a wind talker you can call for current weather conditions. See number below.
